Key competencies: Strategic business policy formulation and positioning; business systems design and implementation; marketing strategy formulation, financial planning and investment appraisal; human resource recruitment strategies, training and capacity development planning; thorough understanding and adherence to best practice principles, and the conduct of ethical and transparent business.
Qualifications: Higher National Diploma (BTEC): Business and Finance. Graduate of the London Institute of the London College of Printing 1989, majoring in Printing and Publishing Management. Graduate of the Senior Management Programme, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, 1997, focusing on executive strategic approaches to new generation organisations in terms of globalisation and institutional change management.
Relevant experience: Hands-on experience of being at the helm of national institutional projects in Namibia for over 23 years.
Executive chairman of African Directory Services, a publishing and advertising company contracted to publish and canvass for advertising matter for the Telecom Namibia Directory and Yellow Pages for a period of seven years from 2000 to 2007, which yielded advertising revenue in excess of N$21 million per annum.
From 2004 to 2009, executive chairman of Diamond Marketing Consultants, a joint Namibian and Israeli-owned company contracted as Government Diamond Valuator (GDV) by the Namibian Government to provide diamond valuation services on behalf of the Government in order to determine the true market value of Namibian diamonds before export for the calculation and determination of government royalties and taxes. During this period, the company valued diamonds in excess of US$2.5 billion per annum.
In 2005, Konga Investments secured a five-year contract with the Ministry of Mines and Energy as (Fund Managers) to administer the Solar Revolving Fund, a special purpose fund set up by the Namibian Government to promote the use of renewable energy technologies in the country, capitalised at N$12 million.

Immanuel Tuvangapi Puleinge
Key competencies: Qualified chartered accountant with a sound academic background and a wealth of practical experience in financial management and auditing, together with a keen eye for detail. His role is to guide effective implementation of financial policy, set performance targets and oversee deployment of functional accounting systems, ensuring full compliance with the regulatory framework and the upkeep of retrievable and auditable financial records in line with Namibian Generally Accepted Accounting Practice – NAC 001.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Accounting and Science honours degree from the University of South Africa; a postgraduate diploma in Accountancy (Prelim) from Rhodes University and a Bachelor of Accounting (BACC) from the University of Namibia.
Currently undertaking a Masters in Development Finance degree at the University of Stellenbosch Business School
Relevant experience: Currently serves as Principal Officer to Kongalend Financial Services and non-Executive Director of Konga Investments. Previously worked with Deloitte & Touché, as an external auditor. Major assignments applicable have included the auditing of NamDeb (the joint venture between De Beers and the Government of Namibia), the Development Bank of Namibia and the Electricity Control Board.
Supervision of special projects on behalf of the company undertaking financial analysis of major property development projects for TransNamib Holdings (the state road and rail transport parastatal) with an average project cost value of N$65 million, as well as undertaking investment consulting services on behalf of Sovereign Asset Management.
Manager: Finance and Administration
Key competencies: Financial management and reporting; effective planning, including meeting statutory compliance requirements; credit management and auditing.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology degree in Business Administration, Polytechnic of Namibia (now NUST, the Namibia University of Science and Technology)
Relevant experience: Currently serves as Manager: Finance and Administration for Kongalend. Previously served as Financial Accountant. Prior experience includes lecturer at International Training College Lingua in the Business and Management Department; Project Manager/Project co-ordinator of the First Oshakati Totem Expo in 2012.
General Manager: Corporate Communication
Key competencies: Publication design and production; use of ICT in data gathering and management, presentation and dissemination; editorial and journalistic experience; media outreach; and training.
Qualifications: BA graduate in English of the University of East Anglia, UK.
Relevant experience: Track record in print and publishing spanning over 35 years, 24 of which have been spent in Namibia on a variety of public projects. Member of the team responsible for establishment of the Government newspaper, New Era, and public information campaigns for the then Ministry of Information and Broadcasting; policy formulation; production of information and promotional material for the Ministry of Trade and Industry; formulation and implementation of the Namibian government’s ICT policy and website development; editor of Business Namibia, an annual digest analyzing sectoral development within the Namibian economy; and targeted information and promotional campaigns on microfinance products and services and the benefits of renewable energy.
In-depth knowledge and experience in compiling and publishing portfolio investment prospectus as well marketing and promotion related publicity material and private partnership collaboration strategies.
