Tshoombe Ndadi
Executive Chairman and founder

Tshoombe is a strategic business generalist who is passionate about taking development to communities at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid in a sustainable manner. He has 30 years of executive corporate leadership experience, serving at the helm of commercial enterprises within the print and publishing industry in Namibia and Botswana, presiding as Chairman for DMC Namibia, a diamond valuations company in Namibia, as well as rolling out renewable energy financing and distribution to off-grid rural communities.
Tshoombe holds a Higher National Diploma (BTEC): Business and Finance. Graduate of the London Institute at the London College of Printing 1989, majoring in Printing and Publishing Management. Graduate of the Senior Management Programme, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, 1997.
A proud product of the Namibian liberation struggle that brought independence to Namibia, Tshoombe Ndadi is an ardent proponent for and is convinced that the deployment of development capital through microfinance intermediaries to finance micro, small and medium enterprises has a greater potential to creating much needed jobs in the informal sector, thereby making a positive dent on poverty and addressing the socio-economic inequalities that characterise the Namibian economy.

Immanuel Puleinge
Principal Officer and CEO
Immanuel Tuvangapi Puleinge - Principal Officer and CEO
Immanuel holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Science honours degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA); a postgraduate diploma in Accountancy (Prelim) from Rhodes University and a Bachelor of Accounting (BACC) from the University of Namibia.
Before joining Kongalend in 2008, Immanuel worked with Deloitte & Touché, as an external auditor. Major assignments applicable have included the auditing of NamDeb (the joint venture between De Beers and the Government of Namibia), the Development Bank of Namibia and the Electricity Control Board, to mention but a few.

Carolina Phillipus
Head of lending
Carolina Phillipus - Head of lending
Committed to serve with utmost integrity; Carolina is a product of Kongalend who joined the company in 2012 at the rank of Client Advisor. After attending various advanced courses on Credit Appraisal and Debt Management, financed through our partnership with the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation, she proved herself as a critical credit analyst and was first promoted to the position of Deal flow Supervisor, coordinating the inflow of credit applications from branches to the head office for final adjudication and approval, before ascending to the position of Head of lending in 2019.
Carolina holds a National Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Namibia, which has sharpened her communication and product promotion skills with which she markets Kongalend’s products at all levels of our society with confidence and vigour. She is an effective communicator who enjoys working with micro-entrepreneurs as she interacts with them on a dual role as mentor and credit appraiser.

Tomas Kalumbu
Manager: Finance and Admin
Tomas Kalumbu - Manager: Finance and Administration
The indomitable and ready to serve beyond the call of duty; Tomas is the pillar of financial discipline, effective resource utilization and control. He joined Kongalend in 2012 as a Financial Accountant and was gradually promoted to the central position of Manager: Finance and administration. He also served as regional manager, coordinating the activities between head office and regional branches situated in the northern part of the country.
Tomas holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Business Administration, Polytechnic of Namibia (now NUST, the Namibia University of Science and Technology). Before joining Kongalend, he worked as a lecturer at International Training College Lingua in the Business and Management Department; Project Manager/Project co-ordinator of the First Oshakati Totem Expo in 2012. Over the past eight years, Tomas has demonstrably developed strong leadership abilities and exceptional competencies in financial strategy and modelling techniques.

Ashanti Tsuses

Ashanti Tsuses - Head of Legal Collections
Ashanti is one such character who leaves no stone unturned in her quest to reign in late payers and perpetual defaulters. Ashanti is also a product of Kongalend, who received intensive training on various advanced Credit Appraisal and Debt Management courses, financed through our partnership with the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation. She joined the company at the rank of Client Advisor in 2014 and quickly rose to senior positions within the finance department, before being promoted to the position of Head of Legal Collection in 2018.
Ashanti holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance NQF Level 7, majoring in Auditing, Taxation, Cost and Management Accounting 2, Research Project, Company Law and Financial Accounting 3. Ashanti is a calm, confident and well-focused debt repayment negotiator who aims to achieve her monthly portfolio performance targets.
